I am: Luis A. Dominguez Victorio, management consulting professional. Business management theorist and practitioner. Expert in supply chain management, operations and strategy.
Motivation: I am intrinsically motivated to further business management ideas and put them into practice against challenging situations. I also enjoy the experience of teaching and find satisfaction in the sense that I am helping current and future leaders adopt (as yet insufficiently spread) best practices in supply chain management.
Experience: I am a management consultant by profession. I am currently a senior associate at Alvarez & Marsal in the Corporate Performance Improvement team based in Munich, Germany. Before joining A&M, I was an engagement manager at PwC Operations Consulting, where I focused on the Supply Chain Strategy Offering. Before PwC, I worked at the boutique supply chain consulting firm Barkawi Management Consultants, where among other activities, I designed and conducted the conceptual training for junior consultants. I work with Vice-Presidents and Directors of multi-billion dollar companies from the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and to a lesser extent automotive supplier and heavy machinery aftermarket industries. I have first hand experience of the challenges these industries face and what the leading practices are.
Education: I hold a Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg and a Master of Business Administration from the Northern Institute of Technology Management.
